SONAR Body – Modular Stainless Steel Base Module

The SONAR Body is a reduced, architectural furniture object made from 2 mm brushed stainless steel. With its clear, closed form, it combines function with sculptural presence — a module that stands confidently on its own or becomes the foundation of a larger SONAR configuration.

The Body can also be purchased as a single standalone piece.It works perfectly as a side table, small console, or sculptural object — and if desired, SONAR Cubes can be added later to expand the setup. Whether kept minimal or extended modularly.

The Body is the most elaborate element within the SONAR series: every edge is fully hand-welded and manually sanded — a process that requires extensive experience, precision, and craftsmanship. Working stainless steel at this level is exceptionally demanding, resulting in a refined, homogeneous surface and sharp, precise edges.

All surfaces are welded, finely sanded, and brushed, creating a matte, seamless finish. The quality of the craftsmanship highlights the design intention as much as the material itself: stainless steel as a statement of durability, clarity, and character.
